Welcome to our first-ever Staff Q&A! This is going to be a fun little blog series that we decided to do so that you all can get a better understanding of what we do and how we do it!

So without further adieu, let’s kick things off with our first team member interview, Junior!

COMMUNITY MANAGER

Junior was born in Brazil and moved to the states at an early age. He’s a creative at heart with a passion for community development, marketing, and Esports. He enjoys playing RPG games and watching sci-fi movies!

LET’S GET STARTED

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR ALL-TIME FAVORITE PROJECT SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?

I would have to say that developing the Discord from scratch has to take the cake here for multiple reasons.
For starters, It was my first significant project, and secondly, because, for the most part, I had unlimited creative freedom.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT YOUR JOB, THAT YOU LOVE THE MOST?

What I love the most is to have to be the ability to collaborate with so many different people with various diverse backgrounds.
When we’re designing an event or a project for our community like this news site their feedback and approach to things really helps make the final product that much better. That along with chatting and getting to know members of this awesome community and collecting their feedback and ideas as well!

IF YOU HAD THE OPTION TO HAVE ONE GAME SERVER FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT GAME WOULD IT BE?

This one is tough.. I like Conan Exiles, but I’ve been taking a liking to ARK because, like most people my age, we grew up playing with Dinosaurs and LEGOs, and I get the best of both worlds playing the latter.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT, THAT EXCITES YOU?

I get to play in a digital sandbox with people from all over the world who enjoy what we have to offer.
The thought of providing those people with meaningful community experiences and interactions is thrilling and keeps me eager always to be doing more!

WHAT ARE SOME THINGS YOU REALLY ENJOY ABOUT THE COMMUNITY YOU MANAGE?

Their enthusiasm to help one another. I’ve never seen a community be so friendly when it comes to helping each other solve problems. It’s honestly one of the coolest things I’ve gotten to discover so far about the type of people we have here, and it’s humbling to know that we have such a supportive group of individuals by our side, which is all the more reason for why we do the things we do. We want to take as many opportunities as we can to thank our community because they truly deserve it!
