MCProHosting 2020: Year in Review.
Dear MCProHosting customers, partners, friends, and family:
As 2020 comes to a close, I will forever remember it for its life-changing impact of COVID-19 across the entire world. It was a year of self-reflection, hardships, and trials for many of us. I sincerely hope and wish that things are getting better for all of you.
MCProHosting celebrates nearly ten years of being the world leader in game server hosting. None of this would have been possible without you, our amazing clients.
We’ve built a company that has continued providing fantastic service and support worldwide, despite the global pandemic that impacted all of our lives.
I consider our team to be some of the most talented and passionate individuals. I’m honored and privileged to work alongside them every day.
Another great thing about our team is that they work remotely, and have since day one. This added benefit allowed them to be safe and healthy by practicing social distancing while preventing the spread of any risk or contamination across the company.
The team here at MCProHosting released and accomplished great things in 2020, and I’d like to take a second to spotlight some of those with you.
Our New Site
Our home site received an overhaul and a facelift, to better create an experience for our existing customers as well as new people looking to start a server. I personally love the new site and love how innate and user friendly hosting a server has become.
The unmatched OneControlCenter Server Panel
Our new proprietary control panel’s release has given us the freedom to provide features and benefits not available in our previous panel. Our customers can now experience a smoother and faster experience when managing their servers. We will continue to expand and develop this panel to take your server managing experience to new heights.
Because every Hero needs a Shield
Our newest partnership with Cloudflare is official, and we are happy to provide unparalleled DDoS protection through our Shield addon for all our server owners. There are further plans with this partnership in the future.
New Social Content via TikTok
Our graphic design and production team has done an incredible job on content in celebration of all the products we’ve released and is looking forward to creating more entertaining and informative content.
Twitch Rivals Tournament
We were fortunate to work alongside Twitch during their Minecraft events this year. Not only were we the hosting provider of choice, but we also had some of our partners participate. I want to thank Twitch for the opportunity and am excited for many more events like this.
New Locations & Better Hardware
MCProHosting expanded its reach across the globe with four additional locations this year, totaling 24 locations across six continents. Our largest expansion yet includes a new server location in Johannesburg, South Africa.
With more locations comes better hardware. Our fleet of servers now includes the Xeon Gold 6100 Series processors, allowing us to deliver better performance, along with an average Passmark Score of 15,572 across our server infrastructure. This score is two times higher than some of our competitors.
Along with better hardware comes better software. Our backup servers have gotten an overhaul and can now take care of all your files, providing peace of mind while you play.
More Customer Support Channels
We’ve added more ways for our clients to reach out regarding any questions. Those channels include Tickets, LiveChat, Discord, and via any of our social media platforms.
Introducing Trial Servers & Game Modes
People that were on the fence about getting an MCProHosting server can now enjoy a 7-day risk-free trial of our servers at no cost. Bring your friends over and start playing right away. We’ll take care of the rest.
New Education, Military, Medical Personnel Discounts
We especially love our educators, people in the medical field, and military personnel across the globe and are proud to support their cause. We now offer 10% off their monthly servers as a token of our appreciation. Thank you for all you do!
